funny thing about freedom of speech--it reciprocates. of course you have the right to an opinion, but if it's one that lacks in nuance and also uses some incredibly misogynistic words, then others have every right to criticize. so isn't it a bit of a double standard to put your opinion out there and expect people to "get over it" as opposed to be entitled to their fair share of discourse in such a public forum as the internet?

You’re right, I just felt like there was a disproportionate outcry about a small comment. I said her constant crying annoys me and all of a sudden people are attacking me because I supposedly hate Russia and all of this other unrelated crap. Criticism and friendly banter is fine, so long as people stick to the point and don’t pull in other matters. If we can have amiable debate, that’s fine, but thus far people have merely been telling me to fuck off, that I’m a cunt, etc., which I don’t think earns a respectable response. Those are the people I’m telling to get over it, because they obviously don’t actually have anything to add. Also, the only misogynistic word I can recall is bitch, and I refuse to let that be a man’s word. Bitch is bitch just as bastard is bastard. Gender unrelated. Others may see it as misogynist, but that’s in no way how I’ve intended it.
